   About 2 weeks ago, suddenly unable to log in.

   Login window appears, Input user name and password, login screen returns with no error message.

   Can log in if I go through the lost password procedure and can log in and out between users with no problems. As soon as the window is closed down and open a new window, I can no longer log in again.

   I have reinstalled update of 3.0.4. Removed all plugins. Separately uploaded the wp-login.php file.

   Same problem in both Explorer and Firefox.

   I have other WordPress blogs which work fine.

   Help.

   This is a 'me too'. This is happening a lot to me.
   Then suddenly after about 5 attempts I can log in.

   Me, too...for more than two weeks. No amount of trying has helped, and as it was a stand-alone installation I can only access my WordPress site account online but not my local (same login and password). Ugh-help!?

   have you tried wp-admin instead of wp-login.php or vice versa?
