I'm trying to move a blog from WordPress.com to a standalone WP blog. I've exported the posts and attachments without any problem, but when I try to import them into the new blog and the import file attachments, mapped to a user who already exists, the process stops after only one or two posts and then sends me to the blog's 404 error page. Every time I run it I get one more post, so I know they're in there.
Any idea what the problem is?

hmm.. I'm having similar problems except at the end of my import it says:
OK
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, support@supportwebsite.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
