Problems Importing from Blogger (html formatting)

I successfully imported all of the posts from my blogger blog; however, after the process was finished, I noticed that all “<” and “>” characters were removed from all of the posts. This means that all hyperlinks that were set up within the posts are now broken. Unfortunately, there were quite a few.

Am I doing something wrong in the import? Or is there anything I can do to get around this?
