   I am trying to import a blog from wordpress.com to my own shared-hosting account. Why am I not surprised to find problem after problem? Can anyone make some recommendations?

   Here are some differences I see.

   1. Looks like it imported only about a third of my articles.

   2. Most of my blogs have links to Google maps. But the blog text appears in the new blog.

   3. Does anyone know if my links will still work when I point the domain HIKINGSALTLAKE.COM to the new site?

   My source blog is http://www.hikingsaltlake.com. My target blog is http://216.119.109.193/.
