Problems combining two admins into one export file (5 posts)

Long ago when I moved from Blogger to WordPress, my WordPress blog ended up with two user accounts, both me, and both admins. One was linked to my imported Blogger posts, with the other linked to my original WordPress posts.

Now I am hoping to seriously overhaul my blog. I need to export it, but am running into a problem with the bifurcated post attributions.

When I run an export and restrict the authors to All Authors, I get an empty XML file.

When I restrict the export to the admin name for posts I wrote in WordPress, I get an empty XML file.

When I restrict the export to the admin name for posts I imported from Blogger, those posts export correctly and I get a standard export XML file.

    What gives?

Is there any way to combine these two users into one and export them together?

I really need to do this soon, and this error is creating major problems.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Well, I read elsewhere how to combine the two accounts into one and attribute the posts from the deleted user to the other user. Did that and everything worked fine on the merge.

HOWEVER, now with the single user and all posts combined, I am still getting an empty file for my export of nearly 1000 posts with comments.

Any ideas what is causing this?

    I have a suspicion...

I believe with the ammount of content you have an export file won't be possible to create. Read the file size limits for exporting and importing.
