[resolved] Problem with widgets not showing on sidebar (4 posts)

    I just installed a theme called fiver and when I dragged the widgets (widget settings) to the sidebar the first two widgets worked (text and page widget), but when I tried to drag two other widgets (archives and categories) and they ARE NOT showing up on side bar when opening up the web page on my browser.

    Minor update - I tried it on a different browser (I use Firefox) and two of the three widgets (pages, categories) are showing up on IE but only one of the widgets appear on Firefox (pages widget).

    The archives widget is not showing up on any of the browsers.

    So, I am not sure if it is a browser issue or a bug in wordpress or a combination of both.

    This is the first time that I have had problems with widgets in wordpress.

    Is there a plugin that can resolve this issue?

    Would appreciate some feedback on this.

    Robert

    link to your site?

    have you looked into the html code of your site in the browser, to see if the four widgets are there?

    Update;

    I just checked the Internet Explorer browser and ALL the widgets are now showing up.

    So I believe it is a browser issue with FireFox.

    Or the cache needs to be cleared....

    Another Update

    Widgets now showing up on ALL of the browsers both Firefox and IE...

    It looks like it was nothing more that the cache needed to be cleared.
