Problem with uploading and permalink settings

    Hi there,

    I’ve installed WP 3.4.2. The site http://colourplaysharees.com is running in maintenance mode for now.

    The problem is I can’t upload/update any themes or plugins using dashboard. The uploading page shows “Unpacking the package…” but never ends. No problem with media uploading.

    The strange thing is I can make these things quite successfully using FTP.

    Surprisingly permalink setting page is showing blank that I can’t change permalink to any page or post. No .htaccess file is found on site root.

    Please help me if anybody can understand my problems.
