   We recently upgraded our wordpress but our old posts are missing. We backed up our database, or believed to have backed everything up. Our settings are correct in our wp-config.php file and new posts can be created, but we do not have any of our old logins or previous posts/comments. Is there a way to retrieve this or has it somehow been overwritten?

   after upgrades you need to reset permalinks
   admin - settings - permalinks
