    Hi
I am using WP 1.5.x on a linux server with Apache and PHP 4.3.11
every time i try to post an article to future WP pings update services when i hit Publish button.

The problem is my blog pings az updated and actually is not updated and when WP posts the future article automatically it doesent ping update services.

This is a general bug ? ow can i fix it ?

Yes, this is a known flaw in the processing of published posts. Future-dated posts ought not ping, because the ping will reference a post that is not yet visible.

My WP-Cron plugin includes a helper plugin called WP-Cron Future Pings, which is supposed to suppress the default pings when you publish, and then execute them when the post would be visible (or shortly thereafter).

WP-Cron Future Pings mostly works, though I'm still chasing down a few small bugs. I invite you to try it, and let me know if it works for you.
