Problem with Twenty Eleven theme

I am using the twenty eleven theme and the sidebar is only appearing on the homepage. Any other page it does not appear. It appears that tho code for the sidebar does not appear in the templates, however when I add it in the sidebar comes up at the bottom. Can anyone tell me how I can get it to appear correctly?
