Hello I have following two problems:
    1. I have succesfully insterted slideshow gallery to my page. Slideshow is working perfectly. When I click on a picture in slide this picture open in full size in Thickbox, but there are no buttons for “next” and “previous” picture/slide. If I want to see another picture in fullsize I have to close thickbox and click on another slide to open it in full size.

    2. Second problem is that if in Sattelite settings I chose Lightbox ready instead of Thickbox then after I click on slide this picture does not open in Lightbox but the picture open in single browser window. There is only picture and nothing else.

    3. Third issue appear when I am making sattelite gallery. I’ve found this problem here on forum but it doesnt solve this problem. So, I make a new gallery, I select more pictures at once and hit upload. It looks like they are uploaded but in “manage Gallery” section they have no thumbnails. I hit save gallery. Then I insert this gallery to my page but there is only placeholder picture instead of those pictures I’ve uploaded. I have to edit each slide and upload pictures one by one. Then it is working. I’ve also changed folder permisions to 777 it doesnt help.

Thank a lot for help with any of these bugs.
    🙂
Sattelite slideshow is exactly what I am looking for.

Nobody has an answer to any of my questions?

I also noticed that if I upload more than one picture to Sattelite gallery at once and then I go to Manage slide page there is this error in “image url” field:
    <br /><b>Warning</b>: file_exists() [<a href='function.file-exists'>function.file-exists</a>]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/data/web/phpup/php35LMny) is not within the allowed path(s):

I have to click on Upload file and upload each image again one by one, which is very confusing.

    Can anybody help?
    Thank you

1 and 2) Sound like you haven’t installed a lightbox plugin? It doesn’t add the lightbox javascript, it just makes the slideshow lightbox ready so all the rel=”” tags are setup properly, grouping images by gallery etc…

    3) Do you see the images there in /uploads/slideshow-satellite ? Maybe it just can’t read them properly

thank you very much for answer,
Probably I dont have lightbox plugin installed, I dont see such a plugin in plugin page. Which one of free lightbox plugin do you recommend?

    3) No I’dont see any images in /uploads/slideshow-satellite.
    a) I make a new satellite gallery
    b) I click on upload images and I select 5 images, I click upload
    c) It looks like uploading is processing for each image but they have no thumbnails
    d) I hit save gallery
    e) If I check uploads/slideshow-satellite there is no image there
but I can see them in uploads/2014/03/ folder
    f) so I go to slide view where I see all 5 images but thay have a placeholder image as thumbnail instead
    g) so I have to upload each image again by clickin “Edit” under each slide and then “upload image” and click “Save slide”
    h) now in slides view I can see correct thumbnail and slideshow is working correcty with correct images
    i) if now I check uploads/slideshow-satellite I can see 3 different images for each slide.

OK I’ve solved problem with lightbox. I’ve installed Simple Lightbox WP plugin and then changed Satellite configuration to Lightbox Ready (found under Links&Images tab in Open Images In…
Before I’ve use Thickbox which open image in Lightbox-like window but I was not able to move to nex picture. This is now working. It was my fault.

Anyway, I still have a problem with uploading pictures to Satellite gallery as described above. Any idea how to solve this? Is that problem with WP or Satellite which need update?

it’s true there are certain servers that have an issue with uploading. I have that fixed now, v2.2.4 on the way to save the day!

Unfortunatelly the newest upgrade didnt solve the problem for me. So I’ve made some screenshots how it looks durring creating a new slideshow gallery

    1. I am uploading images
    http://imageshack.com/a/img59/8044/3j1i.jpg

    2. All images are uploaded to new gallery
    http://imageshack.com/a/img845/192/nnj3.jpg

    3. This is how all slides in new gallery looks like
http://imageshack.com/a/img33/6746/4oox.jpg Notice that I dont see correct thumbnails but instead the placeholder (I’ve changed that placeholder to something less aggresive ;))

    4. After I click on “Edit slide” I see this
http://imageshack.com/a/img812/7724/f3ym.jpg So I have to select “Upload File” to manualy upload each picture again, one by one.

    5. And this is how my gallery looks like befor I upload each slide manually.

I hope this better explain the problem I have. If you need any more informations to solve this just let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

This looks like you might have a permissions problem in the folder, or there might be something strange with the images you’ve uploaded.

Try and set the uploads/slideshow-satellite folder to 755 or 777

If that’s not working, I’d try and download a few image from Google Images and try and upload them. Keep me posted!

It also might not hurt to make sure the image names don’t have any potentially incompatable characters in them, I’m noticing a lot of non-English and I haven’t done much testing with that, although I know a lot of people from Russia and elsewhere are using the plugin successfully

Thank you very much for answers.
I’ve changed that folder to 777 at the begining. So now I try to change it to 755, no difference.
But as I’ve mentioned somewhere before. If I upload pictures as described before I can see them in uploads/2013/03 folder but not in uploads/slideshow-satellite folder. They will appear there only after manual upload one by one.
I dont use any special characters in pictures names. I use for example photo01.jpg, photo02.jpg etc.
I’ve also downloaded images from google images as you have sugested, uploaded but without any effect. 🙁
I have a wordpress installed in Czech language can that be a problem? I have to find a way how to easily change it to english if it helps I will write it here.

Considering Prague is my favorite city I’ve visited I should sure hope it’d work in Czech!

Perhaps this is a PHP problem after all. What version are you on? I’m a bit at a loss as to what’s going on here…

I know there is a plugin that can change the language of your site, I used it for testing the Russian language translations Satellite has
