[resolved] Problem with some Category Permalinks (5 posts)

I am facing a really unique problem. I have looked over a lot of forums but cannot find a solution. I recently upgraded to WP 2.7.

I accidently noticed that some of my category permalinks are not working. For example on my site http://www.delhiplanet.com/index.php/category/analysis/ does not work while http://www.delhiplanet.com/index.php/category/cricket/ works.

I have tried all sorts of things, changed the default base values for categories and tags, played around with category slugs etc, but nothing works. The same problem is coming for some tags.

I thought it was some problem with the .htaccess file, which I could not find in my wordpress installation so I uploaded a new one. But even that didn't help. All my post permalinks work and there is no problem there.

Also I don't get 404 error or anything when I goto http://www.delhiplanet.com/index.php/category/analysis/, basically nothing loads and I get a blank page.

Has anyone faced such a problem. Would be grateful if someone could help.

  2. If you view source, you can see there is content, but no ... data.

It stops right after <!-- End Of Script Generated By WP-PostRatings 1.31 -->

Did you make a special template for that category?

yeah, seems to be a problem with my themes, cause the wordpress default theme is working while my themes are not. Looking into it.

Deactivating some plugins, like polls, post ratings etc., helps to some extent as some more categories work, but the problem still persists for some categories.

Apparently a </div> shows up at in my <head> whenever this problem happens. Any Ideas when that happens.

    Finally, solved the problem.

It was happening due to a new version of one of my plugins. Who would have thought !!. Always Be careful while upgrading.
