[resolved] Problem with self-closing div tags. Please help! (3 posts)

    Hi there!
    I'm running a WordPress blog with a theme called Freshy (http://www.jide.fr), and I have a problem displaying the sidebar in Internet Explorer. Everything works great in Firefox, but in Explorer the sidebar is placed below the blog entries (check out my blog at http://www.jonassononline.se).

    After checking out the support section over at the Freshy site, I think this problem has to do with self-closing DIV tags. Correct?

    So, what should I do with these tags to fix the Explorer problem? And where do I find the tags?

    Thanks!

    What are the self-closing div tags?

    And for the real problem you should search here for "sidebar down ie" - you'd be amazed by the number of times it has been asked - and answered...

    After searching for a while I found that it didn't have to do with self-closing tags like the author of theme said.
    I just added the following to default.css:

    overflow:hidden;

    Problem solved!
    Thanks for pointing me at the right direction.
