   Hi

   I'm currently using the Permalink Editor plugin which allows me to customize the permalink for each post. This is a great plugin but I have one problem.

   Suppose I have a post with permalink http://www.xxx.com/post-1.html and I have a comment attached to that post.

   The comment will show up in my Recent Comments sidebar widget, and when I click on it, it goes to the correct post. The comment link shows up as http://www.xxx.com/post-1.html/comment-page-1/#comment-1070

   If I then edit the permalink of post-1.html to post-2.html, the link n the Recent Comments sidebar now points to http://www.xxx.com/post-2.html/comment-page-1/#comment-1070, but when I click on it, it gets a Page Not Found error.

   If I manually type in http://www.xxx.com/post-1.html/comment-page-1/#comment-1070 in the address bar, it shows the correct page.

   Manullay typing in both the following shows the correct post:
   http://www.xxx.com/post-1.html
   http://www.xxx.com/post-2.html

   I'm baffled. How can I make sure that after a permalink change, my Recent Comments widget still works?
