problem with post displays (1.5)

i’m currently running the january 9th build of 1.5

here’s my problem

in the options, i have it set to show the 20 most recent posts per page.

problem is, in my monthly archives, it also only shows the 20 most recent posts for that month. even though i may have well over 50 posts for that month combined.

is there any way to get the monthly archives to show ALL the posts? i’ve tried making it so that i shows the last 31 days instead, which works for monthly archives, but not so good for the front page (where i only want 20 entries to show)

does anybody have a solution?
