Problem with permalinks in "Classic Theme" (5 posts)

I am using the theme called "Classic Theme": http://demo.templatesquare.com/wordpress/classic/

If I change permalinks from Default to one of the other options (no matter which one), the header disappears: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/4700/print01t.jpg

I have no idea what I should do. Hope there is someone who can help.

    Thanks in advance.

    That sounds actually pretty strange.
If you are using Firefox with the Firebug addon (for CSS + JS inspection), you may check if the URL of the header is correct.

    Thanks for your reply.

Are there other ways to do it?
I have previously tried to install the two you mention, but could not figure out how to use them. :/

You may want to watch this : http://www.kristarella.com/2009/02/how-to-use-firebug-for-css/

There are not so many easy other ways to check if or why your image is missing :(

You could check the source code of the page, find your image (is it included as <img> tag or via CSS ?) and then chekc if the image is missing : copy the HTML code and try to open the image in a distinct window or tab.

Now I have tried. But I give up. Can not figure it out. Don't think i am suitable for this.
I must live with the ugly addresses.
