I deleted the original home page from my new blog that I was creating.
However, the page still shows up on the blog with an Oops, please try to refresh the page. When I click on to the page tab it does not show the home page at all. Show all the other pages that I added to the blog except that home page. Do not know how to correct this issue. Even tried to change to other theme with the same issue. Do anyone have a fix for this problem. I am running on the latest 3.1.1

You’ll have to tell WordPress what page to use for the home page. Go to wp-admin -> Settings -> Reading to set the home page.

Transom & Esmi, If either of the two options work for me with the new blog? How do I get rid of the original home page that does not show up under the titles of pages on the dashboard? I can not delete or edit because there is no longer any access to that home page. Thanks

You don’t need to get rid of it. It will become your designated main posts page.

I just changed my theme to Evolve 1.2.6 and I am getting the same message as DonForney and it gives me a page not found error when I try to get an RSS feed. Any ideas? (My static page is set.)
