• Working on customizing twentyeleven theme for a friend’s site. Active Child theme is “twentyeleven-child”.

Because the menu item names are so lengthy, I used break tags in the page names to force each menu item to wrap and thus be on 2 lines. So in the css file, I adjusted the line height to accommodate these two-line high menu item names. I also adjusted the menu margins in “#access div” and several places in the “access”.

    I now have two problems:

    (1) When you mouse-over a menu item that has sub items, there is a space between it and that drop-down that causes you to not be able to move mouse down to drop-down.

    (2) In Firefox – The little icon is missing from the search box (but it does have the word “search” there.
In IE – the icon and the word “search” is missing from the search box.

I’m not sure how I give you a URL to look at because wordpress is situated to eventually open as the home page of the site….. but currently her customers are seeing a temporary home page set up in wordpress through the plug in “Under Construction”. Is there a way (other than giving the log-in info) to provide you with a URL that will by-pass that temporary homepage?
