Problem with lost content after failed attempt to upgrade

I’m a dinosaur. Running wp 2.5.1 with SeaShore 1.0 Finally decided to try to do the security upgrade suggested by bluehost and messed everything up. I had bluehost re-do with a backup copy and it almost worked, however…one of my pages was a link directory of over three years of columns I have written, when it was restored from the backup, only the last 3 or 4 months of columns showed up. the database still has all of the columns in it and we even tried renaming the database so that all the data would have to be reloaded but it still only shows about 20 of the more than 200 articles that should be on that page.

Any ideas???
Is there a way to export all my blog to a temp file and then import it back again or am I really just screwed?
