I've switched over to iTheme, since that seems to be the one theme I can agree on with myself, and my posts, even though I set it to show only five at a time, seem to wreak havoc on my side bar. I've seen this happen in a couple of themes, and I'm not sure what's going on. Any suggestions?

I think your video, "mesmerizing" is too wide, and some of your pictures after it too. I use Vipers Video Quick tags to make sure my videos are the right size.
Try resizing the video and pictures and see if that works.
