Problem with inserting Excel sheet

Hi, I tried to insert an Excel sheet into a post. It uploads the file and when I hit “instert into post”, indeed it appears there. However, when I click on the link, it comes up in zip format and even if I unzip it, the document doesn’t show up. What do I need to do?

This is a very simple Excel document, so it should not be heavy.
