    What is the banner called? If it’s a name like adbanner or banner, it might be ad-blocking software on your computer?

    I looked at your site and didn’t see any broken images. Did you figure it out?

    Perhaps the url was incorrect? Or the image was missing on the other site? Both could lead to the [X] box in IE.
