   noob here on a question about gallery... when trying to make a gallery I get this:

   Unable to create directory wp-content/gallery/demo!
   Directory wp-content/gallery/demo is not writeable !
   Unable to create directory wp-content/gallery/demo/thumbs !

   now I read the topic about changing permissions and think I got it right but I still cannot make a new gallery.

   anyone help ???

   If you still cannot resolve your issue with the existing gallery, you may want to try an alternative:
