problem with footer in custom page template (3 posts)

I am fairly new to this game and have been experimenting with custom page templates. I have this site right now and have created a nice full-page template, however I can't figure out how to fix the footer.

The footer seems to automatically justify left, outside of the text "container" box. It's strange. Here is the site for reference

The theme I'm using here is Earthly Touch (Elegant Themes), however I'm asking more generally because I would like to create additional customer page templates in the future (within different themes).

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated...thanks!

My guess is that you're missing a closing div (</div>) somewhere.

According to the validator it's #container that hasn't a closing div tag.
