Problem with FeedWordPress plugin

    I am running WordPress v3.5 and have the FeedWordPress plugin v2012.1218 installed to take syndicated RSS blog feeds.

    With FeedWordPress activated it updates the feed as it should but there is an issue with my Blog categories. When I select a Blog category filter on the frontend the posts contained in the selected Blog category are not found. When I deactivate FeedWordPress and select a Blog category filter on the frontend the posts in the selected Blog category are found.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what may be causing this issue?
