Problem with "div id" and css (3 posts)

I am trying to create a template that removes the sidebar and has the page's content expand to fill the space. In the default template, pages have a div id="content". I noticed in my layout.css that #content limits the page's contents to only 510px. I added a new id - #fullpage - where the width is set to 750px, and then I changed the new template to div id="fullpage". For some reason, it doesn't recognize the #fullpage id. It doesn't recognize the padding, and the contents are completely spread out to the left and right with no regard to the 750px limit.

Do you have any ideas as to why the template referencing the id #fullpage is not recognizing it in the css?

The page I am trying to work on is at http://www.innerlooping.com/the-store

Sometimes when developing you need to force a hard reload. Just do F5.
