[resolved] Problem with css for share buttons (5 posts)

    I have removed the text before the buttons, and now I want to align the buttons to the left. For some reason I am unable to do so.

    If I put this line in the css of my theme the buttons disappear as expected:
    .sd-content { display: none; }

    If I try something like this, nothing is happening:
    .sd-content { width: 100%; }

    What do I need to do to get the buttons aligned the way I want it to?

    Try the following:

    div.sharedaddy .sd-content {
        float: left;
    }

    Thanks for the suggestion Jeremy, but it doesn't work.

    hm. Your custom stylesheet seems to load before the Jetpack stylesheet.

    There are 2 solutions to this problem:

    • You could use Jetpack Custom CSS module instead of your current Custom CSS solution. To do so, enter your custom CSS code in Appearance > Edit CSS.
    • You could add !important to the CSS rule I gave you.
      div.sharedaddy .sd-content {
          float: left !important;
      }
