   Hi there,

   So I've just transferred my blog from wp.com to wp.org, and all my Chinese characters turned into question marks. Believe me I've spent hours trying to rectify the situation (although I can be quite illiterate when it comes to programming or anything related). Anyway, if any of you can point me to the right direction, I'd appreciate it very much.

   Looks like you should try going into the PHPMyAdmin and changing the character set of the database from UTF-8 to UTF8-UNICODE-CI. Two different fixes here: http://leepingloon.com/?p=13. Pictures of using PHPMyAdmin in this blog, too.
