Hello,
I recently changed the MySQL password (to a stronger one) for an existing WordPress 3.2.1 installation via my host provider's web UI for MySQL administration. Unfortunately, when I load the site, I now get Database Error: Error establishing a database connection.
If change the MySQL password back to the previous one, the WordPress site works fine. But how would I change it, short of doing a complete reinstall of WordPress using the new password?
But if I've forgotten the previous password, I'm not sure what else I could do. (Again, unless I did a reinstall. This happened with one of my test sites, ouch. Glad I've got backups.)
