Problem with blog

Hello! I have a following problem:

In WordPress administration panel I changed Blog URL but nothing happened. So, I changed real URL too and then terrible thing happened- Server showed me that website can’t be found. Now I don’t know what to do. On server I have all blog files and I just wondering what should I do? Install new wordpress and then Import content? And if that’s so, how this content file is called? I mean, I don’t want to delete or loose it 😀

or if you want it even simpler and youre using 2.3.2

just do this:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Advanced_Options

Note that #3 is by far the easiest solution, as long as you are proficient at editing text files.

I tried following this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL .

All was ok till I needed to find “Home” field. There was NO home field 😮

That table in the database (wp_options) usually is longer than one page! Check put ALL the pages by using the > and >> at the bottom of the phpnyadmin page.
My version is showing 30 rows on a page and the “home” row was the 42nd = on the next page.

lol, ive decided that people only read the first 20 or so words of any post.

Did I not say that #3 was the easiest? Oh, wait, thats past the 20 word limit.

Ok! Now I find page “home” ( thanks moshu ) but problem is that there already is correct link so I suppose that something is wrong with links.
I mean, what I need to write as a correct link ? :/
At the start blog was on http://www.example.com/otherpage/blogs.php
Then I moved all files in directory “Blogs” ( http://www.example.com/otherpage/blogs )
But none of these URL work… :/

The two URI values (site_url and home) can NEVER end in a filename – ONLY a directory name!
Never play and mess around with things that you don’t understand.

Usually I don’t do this but this time I have no choice… Our IT man is out of internet connection at the moment and all need to be done today… :/

If you can , please put all your suggestions here…

Goal is to get back my blog as soon as possible with all stuff (comments, blog records , etc).
