Problem with Apostraphes in Spelling Checker (5 posts)

I am using Coldforged's Spelling Checker and if I add a word that has an apostraphe it breaks the spell checker. By "breaks", I mean that after I add the word, when I click the button to check spelling, the little window pops up but it gives a javascript error and it just stays blank. The javascript error says "Object Expected."

Is anyone else having this problem.

Other than this, this plugin is just freakin' awesome! :)

Might want to check with him on his site to ask directly. Might already be a fix available.

Nope, no fix. It's a limitation of the underlying code for which I have no solution. Well, aside from not adding words to the dictionary with apostrophes :).

I've released a new version of the plugin today -- version 1.18 -- that adds support for adding words with apostrophes in them to the personal dictionary. Visit the plugin page to download this latest version.
