    I url: http://www.radbrains.com

In the page "trade totals" I wanted to put a link to download a spreadsheet, which I did, but when it is clicked on it just brings up a bunch of weird code instead of opening the download.

the link goes straight to the file on the server so I am not sure what the problem is.

    any ideas?

I think it's because your server doesn't know what to do with the file extension for the document format. The server config may not include the mime types associated with all of the open source document types. You can try adding them to your .htaccess file.
