• Hi,

There was a similar question posted 9 months ago, but had nothing about Genesis Framework installed.

I am setting up my site using Genesis Framework (done) and when I added the W3 Total Cache Plugin, it shows this error/message:

Disk Enchanced mode can’t work with “Default” permalinks structure

(I copied and pasted the message, and assume the word Enhanced is misspelled). I’ve spent the better part of my day searching the web for how to set up W3TC with Genesis Framework. Or is that even the problem?

I can’t see a problem on the front of the site: thinktankdiva.com

I am not a developer (WP Beginner) and would very much appreciate any help on how to solve this.

    Thank you!

  • On your dashboard go to the settings. Go to Permalinks under settings. Choose another option other than default. I like post name for my sites. Then the plugin will work. It does not work when the default permalink structure on this page is chosen.

    Cheers,

I chose site name – it did work.

    Thank you, Stacy
