Using v. 2.6.2
I have a table on a wordpress page which is having problems with the display style, I think. It uses custom templates, which I do not have access to.
I have a table with two adjacent columns (cells), in the left cell is an image, and in the right cell is text. The problem is that the text appears lower than the image, making the table row far taller than it needs to be. I tried using an inline style declaration (cuz I don't have access to the stylesheet) to set the display of the image to 'inline', but WordPress just ate the style property (it disappears when I save). I've read about a similar problem with certain themes, but can't figure out how to fix it. Also, I tried copying and pasting the HTML code from the wordpress page editor into a new html document on my computer, and it looked fine. Here's the code:
<table class="zebra" border="0"> <tbody> <tr class="stripe1"> <td><img class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-59" src="imageURL" alt="" width="35" height="48" /></td> <td style="text-align: center">text</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
Any ideas? thx
