   I\'m having trouble installing themes and plugins in my wordpress installation. WordPress has features that let me install updates and other things thru the web interface.

   In orden to use these features I\'m asked to put my FTP information. But a while later it says that it can\'t find the location of the wordpress installation. This seems imposible because wordpress is inside the \"htdocs\" folder.

   Why is this happening?. I was able to do this 4 months ago. I\'ts important because I need to install important wordpress updates. It might put in danger my blog if it\'s not updated, I don\'t want to take that risk.

   Please help me.

   That's usually a good indicator of a bad web host. They may have some kind of PHP alternative that is nothing better than junk.

   What host are you with?
