Which directories do you have in the main edge_suite directory, are permissions there set to 777 for testing? As the error message states “Could not create directories for file to be extracted.” edge suite is not able to create directories.

    Hi,

In the main edge_suit are the following directories:
    -tmp
    -project
    -edge_tmp

Yes, All permissions set to 777!

I use your example file (hungry_edge.oam), with the edge WordPress plugin,
and get the message “Could not create directories for file to be extracted.”
You telling me edge suite is not able to create directories, so how can I fix this?

    Sincerely,
    Floortje

    Hi,
this is probably just the same as http://wordpress.org/support/topic/permission-set-to-777-but-extraction-of-failed-

Edge Suite uses http://de.wpseek.com/wp_mkdir_p/ to extract the dir which seems to cause a problem with your server, not sure why. What hoster are you own? I’ll open up a wordpress issue for that.

    Hi,
Yes it is indeed the same, I have also tried all those options.

The host is a Dutch host:
    http://www.alphamegahosting.com/

Is there anything I can ask to adjust their?

Would be super if I can place an animation on my WordPress site
    in my header

    Hi,
I have now posted an issue about this in the general plugins forum, lets see what comes out of it.

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp_mkdir_p-not-working

You could ask you hoster the same question I ask in the forum, basically if they see any reason why the function wp_mkdir_p would fail.
