   Every time I upload a new blog to a server, I get an error which stops the FTP process, saying unable to upload the class-pclzip.php to the server.

   Actually, the file always seems to be uploaded correctly, but the process is always aborted.

   What is the problem with uploading this file?

   it's an extremely large file, for a text file - that's what's wrong.

   What are you using to upload?

   Both Dreamweaver CS3, or Transmit (both Mac)... have the same issue on both.

   NEVER have had similar problems before.

   Are there extra settings to allow large files?

   I dont know, I dont use either of those.

   I know that both filezilla (which has a mac client) and flashfxp dont have any trouble with it though -- at least on a win32 platform.

   I had the same problem uploading it even with filezilla.
