Problem: text in newsletter is way too big.

    Hi,

    I have just updated mail poet on a client site and created her a newsletter . The text whereas it is georgia and 12 px in the style doesn’t seem to work. It looks like it is overwritten by something…But I don’t know what and when you send the newsletter the text is ugly and very big. A simple small sentence won’t stand on a single line.

    What can I do?

    And I have the same problem on this site I had with another. It won’t let me chose the notification sender name and chose wordpress ID instead…

    UPDATE

    Hi,

    I figured out all this is a problem only on SAFARI and on MAIL. Is Mailpoet not Mac friendly?

    When I open the newsletter in gmail but in my browser it’s the right font size. And if I preview the newsletter in firefox it’s fine as well.

    As for the notification sender name. I cannot change it on safari but have no problem on firefox…

    Weird..

    Hi chryseis,
    I have the exact same problem – I confirm this is not only Safari + Mail,
    because I previewed the NL on Chrome and it’s the same.
    it’s related to the CSS code not being used:

    As you see the “font-size” is not being used, a CSS property overrides it now:

    body[yahoo] p, body[yahoo] strong, body[yahoo] span, body[yahoo] em, body[yahoo] a, body[yahoo] li {
font-size: 26px!important;
}

    Glad to know that I’m not the only one 😉

    Do you know what we can do about that? Is there something to do in mail poet or is it a browser incompatibility ?

    Hi Razique,

    Yes I had contacted them and they just answered me. They’re working on it! 🙂 There will be a patch.
