   Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble logging in to the BuddyPress forum. I know you're supposed to login at BP using the same credentials for the WP forum. But even after I'm logged in at WP, when I go over to BP it says "To create a BuddyPress.org account please first create a WordPress.org ID and then use that to log in to this site". When I click on the link to create an ID, the message shown is "You’re already logged in, why do you need to register?"

   This confirms that I am logged in, but I am unable to post new messages/reply posts on BP. In fact, there are no signs whatsoever on BP that I am logged in. I don't think this is OS-related, but I've tried this on my Mac and Windows 7 just to be sure.

   Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how I can properly log into BP? Thanks.

   Usually one follows up on this issue via the wp-forums mailing list. Let's see if Forums Mod can help you here or advise otherwise.

   Additional: While it's not obvious, if you go to the top left BuddyPress.org menu item on the page, there's a Log in link under that, and that takes you to http://buddypress.org/login/ where you can log into the site.

   Hi there. Should be fixed now. I put a much more obvious login form in the sidebar area.
