   Hello world !

   I have a slight problem in translating the ShareThis Classic plugin in french. I used PoEdit under Linux and built a .po file thanks to the function __ & _e functions matching.

   I translated all strings and compiled then to a .mo file. I renamed it alexking.org-fr_FR.mo and placed in directly at the root of wp-content/plugins.

   The problem is strings are actually not translated on the screen. I opened the .mo file in a text editor and there are a lot of string data, not binary. The problem is I don't know why. I use PoEdit 1.3.6.

   Problem solved : the plugin did not use a correct namespace so there was a i18n conflict.

   My translation was OK.
