Hello, I am using the ProTech theme and I have the following problem.I want to make the slider have the same width like the posts and the sidebars to be just below the secondary menu. I changed the width for the slider and the margin-top in the stylesheet.css for the sidebar and it fixed, but when I go to a page or a category that does not have the slider, the sidebars go above the secondary menu. How can I fix this please?

  2. Sorry but your chosen theme is not released under GPL. Non GPL products are not welcome in the WordPress community. Official WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released are required to adhere to http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/

I am sorry but I cannot use this theme if I want to build a website?Even if I buy it?

  4. No no, it's your site and you can (and should) do what you like. ;)

We just don't support non-GPL'ed themes here. You can get support from that theme's vendor site or elsewhere.

That vendor puts links in the footer as a condition of using their free theme. That's contrary to the GPL which lets you do anything to the theme code and distribute it and the changes as you see fit.

We're very pro GPL code here (we're all beneficiaries of people who contribute code via GPL), so that vendor is not compatible with these support forums.

Is there any idea of a similar theme among these, with the one that I am using? In case I change my mind and use a GPL theme?I would appreciate any proposal.
