Problem going live with hosted test site (3 posts)

    Hi everyone:

I have designed a new WP website to replace my old one. I worked on it in a non-public folder within the existing directory of the site I want to replace, like so:

    CURRENT SITE = http://www.zoniereport.com

NEW SITE, READY TO GO LIVE = http://www.zoniereport/news/wordpress_revolutionpro

Here is my problem: How do I bring everything out of these two folders -- "news" and "wordpress_revolutionpro" correctly?

I tried this once and really screwed it up. I pulled everything out of the files via FTP, but none of the CSS applied. It was a white background with text pushed all the way to the left.

What's the correct way to bring these files out and "go live"? I apologize in advance if this is an easy fix, but I sure appreciate the help.

this is stuff that needs to be done in addition to phsically moving the files (what you did). Remember those questions you were asked when you installed WP? They matter.

Thank you for the help. I figured it was something obvious, and the fix was simple. The site works great.
