What is the url for the blog?
I am having the same problem. If I drop the code in and save it is there. If for some reason I edit in ‘visual’ mode, the video disappears. I have several sites and it is the same for all. This only started with 2.9.
has anyone found a solution for this?? it happens to me too, if im in the html editor all good, if for some reason some other user changes it for visual, the flv tag get deleted…
any solutions?

Same problem here: embed video from YouTube in HTML mode and after saving or updating the post, all embed code has disappeared.
It would be helpful if anyone could reply to this thread as hosting video is a no-go for most people and for those (like myself) who can, it’s a no-go because the Streaming Video plugin that copes with that apparently doesn’t know how to handle videoclips outside of WordPress Mu’s Media bin –which is crap because it doesn’t work.
I wonder why there are so many posts about this topic and yet no moderators respond to any of them? This didn’t happen before 2.9 that I can recall.
