   I'm trying to embed some audio into my pages and am using WordPress on my own domain (downloaded from wordpress.org)

   Now I've referred to an article on the wordpress.com site http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/ and have done exactly what it states in step 1 but still, the link is just displaying as a link and not as a player

   See what I mean at http://60minutemagic.com/test/

   I'm using the OptimizePress theme which I assume is not causing any type of conflict but I can't be certain

   I look forward to any feedback at all and to getting this simple problem resolved

   Do not use wordpress.com documentation for self-hosted WordPress sites. There are significant differences between the two. You need to find and install a suitable audio player plugin,.

   Thank you for that, do you have any recommendations because I did try one that didn't work and I couldn't get any support from the provider of the plugin

   Again, any assistance is most appreciated

   No specific recommendations, but you could try looking through these plugins.
