Hi, I am having to change my theme as I have had problems with plugins and I have tried everything to get rid of the descrption of the top of my page. I have managed to get rid of the title
my website is and I am using the Clear Style 1.2 theme
Looking at the code behind it it looks like it posts the site description. In your admin panel go to Settings and there empty your Site Discription. Then save and it should be gone.
Then add style=”display:none” to the element in your header.php or add #site-description{display:none;} to your style.css. If you want to do the correct thing for search engines then use method 2.
