   Hi All,

   I've been been blogging for a while but am new to WordPress. I was hoping someone could help me with some CSS issues I've been having. I am trying to change the color of the text and links on the slate-10 theme from blue to red. Whatever I have tried it has not worked except for the text links in the header area. I have been able to change the text-decoration attributes elsewhere, but not the color.

   Can someone take a look at the stylesheet for http://xtremeparts.net and tell me where I would need to go (and how) to change the text color for the post titles, categroy, edit this tags, # of comment tags, comment tags, and for the sidebar links. Basically I want to change all the blue links to red and possibly change the post title color.

   Is there some issue with the theme or stylesheet or maybe browser that is hindering me from doing this? Is there perhaps some type of inherited color that is causing it not to change. It is really baffling me and has been quite frustrating. I'm no CSS expert, but do know html and a little about CSS.

   I also just found and was thinking about trying the Internet explorer developer tool. Would this be beneficial? Has anyone tried it?

   Any help is greatly appreciated.

   Well even though nobody posted I just figured I'd post and let everyone know it's all figured out. I noticed the above link is wrong. It was supposed to be http://xtremepartsblog.net. LOL, working to late till 3 and 4 in the morning. Anyway. Came out pretty nice. The stylesheet on this theme was more complex than I thought. I used the Firefox developer plug-in to help me decipher it. It's a pretty darn handy tool if anyone needs some help and wants to try it out.
