[resolved] Problem applying instructionf for "get_the_excerpt" function (3 posts)

    Hello Sirs,

    I tried to modify my themes (Coraline and Stripefolio), so that only excerpts are shown on front page.

    I followed the instructions provided here and here

    However, it appears the specific instructions don't match what I find on the "Stylesheet (style.css)" and the php files of the themes.

    I am using WPMU, so could that be the factor? (Do I need to follow a different instruction?).

    Thank you.

    [P.s.-Is there some sort of private or premium sort of support where I can get tailored support?]

    that only excerpts are shown on front page.

    general Codex chapter http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt

    any get_the_excerpt() adaptations are most likely not for style.css, rather for one of the other templates or possibly for functions.php of the theme.

    for more detailed support, try asking in the direct forum's of your themes;
    http://wordpress.org/support/theme/coraline/
    http://wordpress.org/support/theme/stripefolio

    there is no 'premium' support, but you could consider to post a job at http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or similar sites.
