I must say the DNS errors occur only for template=Iframe Image.
All is OK for template=Image
Hi,
I’m in the process of updating the javascript based templates (iframe, carousel, etc.) to use the new URLs provided by Amazon. I must of accidentally changed the old ones whilst doing this.
I have changed them back to what I think they used to be, unfortunately I’m working behind a firewall so can’t check they actually work!
The update can be downloaded from here:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/amazon-link.zip
(This will also provide support for the new Brazil locale – Amazon.com.br).
Please let me know if this helps!
Paul
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your fast answer.
I did not succeed in installing the downloaded update.
After deactivation of the 3.2 version, I did try to install the zip but it fails. I am not a WP expert.

Hi,
No problem, can you tell me at which stage it failed:
1/ Re-active the Amazon-Link plugin
2/ Go to the Settings page and make sure ‘Purge on Uninstall’ is _NOT_ selected. It should not be enabled normally.
3/ De-activate the Amazon-Link plugin
4/ ‘Delete’ the Amazon-Link plugin (this will report that it is uninstalling Amazon-Link and a load of ‘Extra’ plugins)
5/ Download the zip file (do not extract) from: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/amazon-link.zip
6/ Go to the your WordPress admin page Plugins > Add New, then select ‘Upload’
7/ Click on the ‘Browse’ button and find the amazon-link.zip file and select it.
8/ Click on ‘Install Now’ and WordPress should install the plugin.
9/ Click on Activate Plugin
Did not realise that there are quite so many steps!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the nice explanation.
I did miss the step 4.
All is OK now!
Your update works, now all “Iframe Images” are back to normal.
Nice work!
Best regards,
Renaud
The updated version above did solve the problem.
Brilliant thanks for the feedback. I will wait a bit longer to see if there are any other bugs reported, then I’ll create version 3.2.1.
Cheers,
Paul
