   Hi,
   I have serious problem without any idea what happens with my blog.
   After upgrade to version 2.8, all links and drop-down menus (in compact view) on the dashboard stop working. I try to turn off all extentions, to upgrade the blog manuali by hand... but the problem persist.
   Any ideas about this?

   Have you tried:

   - renaming the plugins folder via FTP

   - disabling Google Gears if you have that running/installed.

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

   I ran into this problem as well. I'm using Firefox 3.5 and Google Gears too. I deleted Firefox's Cache and the problem went away.

   Used the pull-down: Tools -> Clear Recent History...

   In the Clear Recent History dialog I selected a time range of "Everything" and unchecked everything except for cache in the details section and clicked "Clear Now".
