   Hey folks:

   I migrated to a new web host and restored my wp database. At first I thought it had gone well and the home page looked right, but when you click into any of the posts I get a 404 error. I logged into wp-admin and all the posts are there. Did I miss something obvious? Any help is very much appreciated.

   Did your .htaccess file in place??
   Does you new host support htaccess rewrite??

   Thanks for the rapid response. I am not sure (just my lack of knowledge). How would I check this?

   Please post the url of your site.
   Its possible to find the reason for the issue by looking at the site.

   I changed the permalinks setting and switched it back. that resolved it.
